We are looking for an experienced Frontend Software Developer I to help us deliver exceptional, user-centered experiences as we reshape the future of compliance.
What you will do:
- Lead the development and innovations of the Minerva platform interface as required for client interaction and internal use.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, rest of Engineering, and other key stakeholders to craft intuitive, world-class user experiences for our customers.
- Influence product and design decisions while identifying and implementing software development best practices and processes that are well-suited to the team’s needs.
- Drive detailed project definition, technical design, cross-functional alignment, estimation, in addition to task break-down, delivery, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Consistently generate simple and elegant technical designs, and write high-quality code that can be easily understood and leveraged by others.
- Take an active role in growing the team, partner with your manager to improve the processes that support team development and efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
- Expertise in frontend software development, 5+ years of experience building web applications and interfaces. Experience working at an early stage (seed, series A) startup is a plus
- Ability to analyse complex product, design, and technical requirements to consistently produce high quality software.
- Solid CS fundamentals, knowledge of modern frontend tech stacks, fluency in dynamically typed languages. We primarily use JavaScript, Typescript, ES6, React, JSX, though our engineers have a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Familiarity with automated UI testing methods via Selenium/Puppeteer, user testing methods and optimization of the user journey.
- A cautious “test before you deploy” approach to continuous integration.
- Passion for working with cross-functional teams including Product and Design, ability to plan and design interfaces ahead of development.
- Initiative to go above and beyond the blueprints to bring new ideas to the table.
